NESN Launches Free “Predict the Game” App for Red Sox Broadcasts

New England Sports Network (NESN) has launched a new way to participate in the Red Sox broadcast with the introduction of free predictive play. The game will be featured on the NESN telecast multiple times per week for the remainder of the 2020 Red Sox schedule. The game, titled Predict the game, will include multiple questions displayed on screen throughout the broadcast, prompting fans to vote on various predictive questions online while watching Red Sox games. The initiative begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. when the Red Sox host the Braves at Fenway Park.

The game will cover a variety of topical broadcast related issues, including statistical queries and issues related to game results and player performance. Predict the game will be displayed on-screen periodically during live match coverage, and viewers will answer questions on their cellphones or laptops. A number of questions will be displayed on screen during the broadcast and additional questions will be published exclusively online.

Fans can log in to create an account and play at NESN.com/PredicttheGame. Points will be awarded in the game for specific selections. The top scorer at the end of each show will win a digital cash gift card prize. The following upcoming Red Sox matches will include Predict the game:

  • Tonight, Monday August 31: Red Sox vs Braves at 7:30 p.m.
  • Tomorrow, Tuesday September 1: Red Sox vs Braves at 7:30 p.m.
