Cyberpunk 2077 preload time and game download size have been leaked and here’s everything we know

After a handful of leaks and much outrage from the community, Cyberpunk 2077 should arrive in less than 2 weeks. December 10th is the date and we can’t wait for it to be released already.

As we get closer to the release date, we now have more information leaked about the game. According to a new report, it appears Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for pre-load on PS4 on December 8. This is huge news because if it is true we will only have to wait a week before we can finally have the game in our systems.

As for the file size, it looks like it will occupy 71.730 GB on the PS4. This apparently doesn’t include the size of the Day 1 patch, so we’re assuming we’ll download a few more on the day it is released.

It’s also worth pointing out that these details are for the PS4, but we don’t see how that will be any different for other platforms as well. We expect the preload times to be the same on all platforms. The size of the download may vary, but this is also something we don’t know yet.

The same source also noted that the preload date could move to December 3. So yeah, there seems to be some sort of confusion about this and we suggest any kind of official CD Projekt Red update for you.

Either way, we expect the pre-load option to go live this week on all platforms. We also suggest that you have up to 100 GB of free space on your system, as the day 1 fix may increase the overall file size. Now we just play the wait game until it comes out and we jump into it. I can not wait. In the meantime, you can also visit our dedicated site Cyberpunk 2077 portal to learn more about the game.
